what to do?

I had to drink some Earl Grey to wake up a bit this fine afternoon. Slowest day on the history of dispatcher's work load. I got a lot of digital scrapbooking, phone calls, follow ups (personal) and other nonsense done, however not a whole lot of work. Earl Grey is my friend.

Rent is paid, tomorrow is my Friday all ready, and Lily and Danny are playing basketball, He says she is pretty good at it, dribbling of course, not shooting just yet. Although she is tall, she is not that tall.

I hope to have some family time, hang out on the porch, maybe take a hot uninterrupted shower and snuggle with my love bugs before bed. I gotta do it all over again tomorrow.

Anyone need some scrapbooking done or cards made? I am completely available!

Went to Dinosaur Museum, Wiennie dog races @ Buda fair, and BBQ by the pool this weekend. pictures to follow - Remember Mother's Day is coming soon and mine and Danny's 10 year Anniversary is Wednesday. WOW! 10 years

WEEKEND PLANS

IT'S FRIDAY AND I HAVE THE WEEKEND OFF. TGIF (FOR ME ANYWAY!!!) SORRY FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO STILL HAVE TO WORK.... TOMORROW DOWN SOUTH TO SAN ANTONIO CHECKING OUT THE RIVER WALK WITH LILY AND DANNY - WILL TAKE A PICTURE OF LILY WITH THE ALAMO. SATURDAY TO THE TEXAS MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY AND SUNDAY THERE IS A WIENNE DOG RACE AND DOG PARADE IN A LITTLE COUNTRY TOWN CLOSE BY. IF NOTHING ELSE, GOOD FOR A LAUGH SURELY!!! LILY WILL LOVE IT!!!

AND NEVER EAT HOT DOGS AGAIN!!! LOL - HOPE YA'LL HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND TOO!!!

digital scrapbook page Seriously Beautiful

So happy to have time to digital scrapbook and play with all the beautiful photo I have of Lily and also, our new home. Just nice to have the time, not be stressed out, not chew my nails or feel like I have to smoke (maybe I can quit now) MAYBE! I know both mine and Danny's stress levels are down, considerably down. Sorry for those we left behind who are not so lucky... I enjoy posting positive things but feel people may think I am poking fun. I am not trying to be spiteful, it is not in my blood. Keep checking for emails and my blog for any new photos and I will keep playing around with digital scrapp'n til I get an album ready and then post it like that. Here is a brief glimpse. Also, please help me with a title for my crafties... a trade name. Like Denise's Smitten for Glitter, but I am not that blingy. I welcome any ideas you have!

being a Christian

Happy Sunday family and Friends. It is my Friday, first full weekend I have worked in a year... or more. Blah! However I liked the Wed.and Thursday off for activities since no one else is out those days of the week.

Stay tuned for next week's adventures.... Tuesday toobing ROUND 2 and Friday Texas Museam of Natural Science (dinosaur bones, fossils, and even tracks in limestone...) and also Butterfly museum and the 4th largest natural spring in Texas, Barton Springs near Lake Lady Bird in Austin.

Lillian LOVED her first TOOBING adventure - we talked to her before we left the house about listening and behaving. She said, "OK Mommy, but I have tell you something... I am a little bit excited." WEREN'T WE ALL!! HIGHLY SUGGESTED DAY TRIP!!! We will be doing much more I assure you!!!

Danny Mendez here is no longer an uptight supervisor wound so tight he could go off on anyone any second... Look at him now. Don't you just want to dunk HIM??? Don't be a hater! He absolutely loved it... TOOBING... said his ulcers are all gone now. STRESS FREE 

Here we 3 amigos Mendez US 3 go toobing down the San Marcos River April 19th, 2011. This was our first toob time here in San Marcos, Lily was great!!! FUNominal!!!

Children at Easter time are the sweetest things!

We moved to San Marcos... I have been here 3 week now. It is beautiful, green and wonderful weather. ---- We both have great jobs. I commute to Austin and Danny to New Braunfels. Can't wait for our friends to relocate... Ashley this weekend and Reed and Mary within 2 years. But we will be surrounded by good people :-)

So beautiful if anyone wants to come visit.

Lily loves it and has finally relaxed that we are not taking her back to El Paso were people don't know how to drive (which would make Mommy cuss) and we are staying in the pretty place (which makes Mommy smile!!!)

Danny is bored with his job all ready but relaxed and no one who worked with him would recognize he is so loose compared to being wound so tightly. UGH! Bought time. If I thought I relaxed when I had stepped down... I am super uber supremo relaxed now. I have not a care in the world. What to put on my bucket list I suppose is my next feet.

I miss my family and love everyone so much for helping form this great person and MOMMY I have become, I owe it to you all that I have what I do today and am who I am - literally. I am closest to my Aunt Glenda's daughter, Janet now who I plan to suprise if no one gives it away before and visit next month. We also plan to visit the Gulf Coast and deep sea fish, maybe rent a beach house... also visit Sea World in San Antonio and think about getting Lillian enrolled in school soon.

WOW it has all happened so quick. My advise to anyone not happy in what they are doing or where they are at in life is... ONLY YOU CAN CHANGE IT. If it is you, change you. If it is the environment, change the environment. If you keep moving and the same circumstances arrise, it is you! Change you, before you move again - YOU ARE the common denominator. Other than that... Do what you want with the time you have - don't do what you are told. Don't live under the thumb or serve the man! bE THE MAN!
